It all started as a postgraduate thesis project, with a clear vision: to create a menstrual alternative that cares for our bodies and the planet. The design is based on the changes women experience, our need for security, comfort, and protection; garments that not only cover but also accompany us, that are there for every woman during the most special, challenging, and intimate days of the month. That's how Selem was born six years ago, with the purpose of generating well-being, reducing waste, and transforming the way we experience our periods.
